INEA Contractors' Workshop in Energy Transition

The INEA Contractor's Workshop focusses on Social Sciences and Humanities in the energy transition and RES public acceptance, consumers and communities. Subjects to discussion will be:

- Assuming that active participation of citizens in RES plants (decision making, installations, shared ownership) increases acceptance, are there enough incentives (legislative and financial, other) for citizens to actively participate either individually or via communities?

- What type of actions could ensure covering knowledge gaps in order to overcome barriers and become prosumers (specialised training, knowledge building, technological guides/blueprints)?
