Webinar "Energy Improvement Districts: An Instrument for Local Cooperation on Energy Efficiency"

During the last 3 years, the consortium of project AREA 21 worked in close cooperation with their local stakeholders to establish future-oriented energy planning at the district level. On September 1st at 14:00-15:30 (CET), the project leader HafenCity University Hamburg organises as part of the conclusion of the project a webinar on the Energy Improvement District instrument and energy planning tools and policy. The focus is set on "Energy Improvement Districts: an Instrument for Local Cooperation on Energy Efficiency". The webinar aims at introducing several examples of the Energy Improvement District (EID) concept as a tool for integrated energy planning and a method to support cities in reaching their emissions reductions goals.
