mySMARTLife Capacity Building Webinar

The 3rd mySMARTLife webinar on the topic of “Capacity Building in Smart Cities” will be organised on 29th April 2019 (13:00-14:00 CEST). "Capacity building", within a smart city context, is typically defined as the development and strengthening of human and institutional resources, growing understanding between authorities and businesses towards the promotion of smart solutions linked to specific interventions that meet the needs of the city and its citizens.

In mySMARTLife project, we are setting up an innovative methodology to ease the access to cooperation in common matters linked to the sustainable urban development. An open urban coaching-mentoring process will allow cities to have an assessment of their transformation and produce a self-analysis to understand and detect replicable solutions.

Our six cities: Nantes, Hamburg, Helsinki, Bydgoszcz, Rijeka and Palencia are already identifying highly replicable projects to allow mutual learning and discussion. These projects fall within five categories: energy, lighting, ICT, non-technical, mobility. A set of related Study Visits will be held. The first one was the Energy Study Visit celebrated in Nantes on the 7th of March 2019.

Who can participate?

The webinar is directed to stakeholders from national, regional and local authorities, municipalities, companies, and in general to everyone interested in capacity building. The webinar is organised in the framework of the mySMARTLife Cities Network. It is the 3rd one of this series. Read more about the mySMARTLife Cities Network here.
